From domestic water meter to residential water meter
HAMBURG WASSER relies on i-connect in SAP for process reliability for the new construction of residential water meter systems as well as the conversion from domestic to residential water meters. This process, which in the past was still partly implemented manually, benefits from the workflow component of i-connect.t. Through this use, the departments receive a transparent view of the processing status of the respective transaction. Due to the complete integration into SAP IS-U, there is no need for duplicate data storage or entry.
For the specialist department, it is also easier that not only the business partners can be created, but also the contract accounts that ultimately exist are displayed. The fact that i-mail is also integrated means that not only the filed postal letters but also the outgoing e-mails are stored in the application document without gaps and in a traceable manner. Thus, another important step in HAMBURG WASSER’s digitization strategy has been successfully implemented.
