David served beer from the family-owned Schwert brewery at his welcome party in Stuttgart. This led to conversations with Kai and others about rare, delicious beers. After work, “secret” tastings took place in the break room. Over time, more and more people took part, and soon the “Rare Beer Day” became a regular event. The TDSB has since been made an official event. There have also been “specials” such as whiskey tasting.
