Discussion of ideas and workshop on predictive maintenance/field services at a regional energy supplier in northern Germany. Predicting when individual machines or components will fail is essential in the energy supply sector. Since we at INIT place great importance on providing customized solutions for our customers, predicting machine failures was only the beginning. In the future, we will also determine other factors, such as which nearby machines also need to be serviced for logistical and cost reasons and what efficient route planning for employees looks like.
