On 16–17 May, INIT’s experts in SAP integration scenarios visited the Kafka Summit in London. Read here how Daniel Kaupp experienced the event and what impressions he gathered:
I attended this year’s Kafka Summit in London with two colleagues. Two intensive days full of presentations, workshops and networking around Apache Kafka, the growing application environment and the enthusiastic and inspiring data streaming community are now behind us. The topics covered in the presentations were very diverse, ranging from best practices for implementing the EU GDPR in Kafka to AI models for optimising large Kafka clusters. Not only were the rousing keynote talk by Confluent CEO Jay Kreps and the summit party with live-coded music highlights, but we were also finally able to meet and get to know many of our customers in person.
Overall, it was a fantastic and thoroughly successful event organised by our partner Confluent for the nearly 1,800 summit participants who attended.
